So I think I will have to take them to the Club next month and check them out via JMRI Decoder Pro and tweak the settings.fencing contractors brisbane east
jhonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08258690520992269231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7194361751969878324.post-5945746046789513832014-04-09T11:12:10.249+10:002014-04-09T11:12:10.249+10:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7194361751969878324.post-67336126828684249932013-11-12T21:56:53.072+10:002013-11-12T21:56:53.072+10:00Brilliant! After 3 hours of tourist walking and gawking at everything, it was time to go home, and had started to rain, heavily. There was little shelter surprisingly under the shop awnings, and we thought, oh we'll just taxi home, but not taxis were to be found. We tried to ask where a taxi rank was, and unsuccessfully tried to hail cabs, all full of other people. After 45 minutes of this, getting more tired, and now soaked through, we were both nearly at out wits end, when someone came up to us and spoke English, asking us where we wanted to go to. Thanks goodness! I'll never drive past another tourist in Brisbane again without offering to help them. *lesson learnt.Beecham Motorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03685002483855010916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7194361751969878324.post-87036165707007503422011-07-10T14:54:21.231+10:002011-07-10T14:54:21.231+10:00It's probably impossible to spot the equivalen...It's probably impossible to spot the equivalent little quirks in Brisbane without having an out-of-townie with you. What we see as perfectly normal is very strange to others, frames of reference and all that stuff. Just be flexible and tolerant with visitors as they will discover our quirks faster than we could ever dream.

The other side of the coin is the visitor has come here to experience us and our environment. I think it would be false to change the way we do things just to suit a visitor. This is what we are, how we are, and there may even be a good reason for it.

You live and learn.

Cheers
@PirateRed_BeardPirate Red Beardhttp://themaleperspective.com.au/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7194361751969878324.post-48035043463211747322011-06-23T22:47:33.279+10:002011-06-23T22:47:33.279+10:00The cost of radio is one thing but I also wander i...The cost of radio is one thing but I also wander if the coverage and radio frequency will be as good as analog radio signal.

pure highway in car dab radiomaco1https://www.blogger.com/profile/06550471814510783126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7194361751969878324.post-51101412284417162342011-03-13T11:50:34.635+10:002011-03-13T11:50:34.635+10:00Love Tim's response. But they're very good at justification. I never feel bad about downloading shows from the ABC because I pay for that content in my taxes. If it's a show on a commercial station then it gets messy.

But then, I'm constantly exposed to the same advertising in the form of billboards and posters. I don't benefit from those. I'm sure it all evens out (How's that for some tortured justification?)

I downloaded a single movie recently for the first time simply because I couldn't find where to rent it from. I really liked the sound of it and wanted to order the DVD but if it sucks then I'll be very disappointed. It's too much of a risk, so a download it was. If it's not awful I'll purchase the disk to get the extras.Dan Beestonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05579585743289114991noreply@blogger.com
